Columbia Street West is located in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, at the corner of Harrison and Columbia Streets, also known as "The Landing".  Over 100 years ago the building was erected.  The building itself has been used as a bar since 1903 except for the prohibition period when it was a tire store.  In 1985 the building was purchased by Hank and John Freistroffer. The Freistroffer family also owns Henry's Bar and Grill in downtown Fort Wayne. The building was then completely renovated to become Columbia Street West.  Every

attention to historical detail was taken into consideration during this renovation.  For your entertainment, a scale miniature train travels the perimeter of the restaurant along the ceiling and many historical photographs adorn the walls for your educational pleasure.

At Columbia Street West we strive to bring you the best of the best.  When you visit our facility you will find a wide variety of live bands every Tuesday and Thursday - Saturday evening including Rock & Roll and Alternative. We also offer a happy hour every Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm.  Come and unwind to the great sounds of Mike Conley and Chris Dodds and partake of our free food buffet.   (Please visit our music agenda link for other music offerings this month.)  Columbia Street is also well known in Fort Wayne for offering a delightful, varied menu plus a comfortable, unique party facility.

Whether you're out cruising the town, meeting business associates or friends, make Columbia Street West your destination. We look forward to serving you.
